SH4 Release Party!?!

What do you all think about a SH4 release party?:hmm: I say we have it at the USS Pampanito in San Fransisco. http://www.maritime.org/pamphome.htm OR Boston, MA to see the USS Lionfish. http://www.battleshipcove.org/

What about the USS Drum? http://www.ussalabama.com/

The Bowfin would be cool, but spendy, and nobody wants to go to Wisconsin (Green Bay is near there) in March (USS Cobia) [although, I've been to this museum, and it is totally cool!:rock: ]

Rent a hotel, a few high-end computers:rock: :smug: :yep: :up: Somesort of a guest speaker, Nikimcbee's famous crabcakes,:p

I live about 50 miles south of Duluth/Superior. As far as football goes...well, I used to play fantasy football until I realized it was interfering with my sub simming :lol: . As an ex-fantasy player, I keep track of players more than teams although I would naturally choose the Packers as my favorite team. Doing otherwise while living here would be like laying on the bottom in 30 meters of water and intentionally making noise with a HK group in the vicinity :dead: .

I have been on the USS Pampanito 3 times and the USS Bowfin once and both are great boats.I have a book on the USS Cod and it looks like a great looking boat also.I would love to do one of the sleepovers these boats have but you have to be a group to do it.I think a SubSim meeting with a sleepover on a sub would be a great idea.

I like Neal's boat but its been turned into a guppy,I think if we were to do a party for SHIV it should be on a WW2 Fleetboat.I will fly to where ever the party will be,I only that this can turn into reality.

That's just a few hundred miles south of me ... I've got the gas to get down there, but I don't have the gas to get back. Gas was $3.03 cents yesterday ...

I'll have to wait till next time, but have a good time and take pictures to post too.

It's not etched in stone, but I should be there next week. How large is fishermans wharf? Is it something you can walk, or do you need a car? ...What about BART? can you get from the airport to fisherman's wharf? Where's a cheap place to stay?

USS BATFISH their museum is awesome including an actual batfish her crew caught in the pacific.
they also have era naval uniforms and many deck guns depth charges etc.
