Hi all, does anybody had my same problem? Random, playing campaign or single matches, the game crashes and bring me out to XP. I've downloaded the last ATi toll form y ATI X600 setting the 3D tool for the best performance and also for the best graphics... but the problem was unsolved!
Anybody can help?
Thanks

Are you playing MP or on your own? When do these crashes occur? Try to give a bit more information and we might be able to help you.

Welcome aboard kaleun aresca :arrgh!:

You will have to be a little more specific in what your experiencing and let us know what your pc specs are, what exactly is happening and what precisely you are playing (SH3 stock, GW, GWX, NYGM) etc. :yep:

Never fear, if it's happened anywhere before then the answer will be found through a post or from a forum member :yep:

Just a little more info would benefit people in helping you resolve your issue

That happens to me, I have GWX, just installed it. I also have Dec 23rd patch and i have SH3 Commander 2.7 with the files so it runs with GWX. I am also running the 1939-1941 Kids Mod For Grey Wolves (for my younger brother).
I run the mods through JSGME program.

The first time i went to play SH3-GWX the load screen that comes up after the little clip and the intro, it didnt work. Like the load bar got full and i waitted for about 10 minutes then a doubled clicked and nothing happened then i did Ctrl,Alt,Delete and it said SH3-GWX wasnt responding so i restarted my computer and then tried it again

The second time i got through the first load screen and got to the main menu (nice music by the way) then i clicked and started a new career, Year 1939, 2nd flotilla. I forgot to deactivate my brother's kid mod thing so i started out with everything, I was like a kid in a candy store. I did alot of upgrades (Total Upgrades) on my new !XD2 sub. When i got to the barracks to add some men to t he crew i noticed that the limits for Officers was 9 and the limit for petty officers was 60 !!!!!! The sailors limit was normal at 32 i think. So i increased the number of officers so that there were 8 of them and i totaled my petty officers at 18. Then i clicked on the mission board and started the mission. Again the load screen came up allong with the notepad that tells you wat to do. About a minute went by when i looked down and saw that the load thing was almost full but then SH3-GWX turned into Windows XP, i thought nothing of it, i thought my stupid Virus protection thing wanted to be upgraded but then a window opened up and it said something like they have encountered a problem and must shut down, i clicked Dont Send and continued on to write this story so that someone could help me.

I explained wat i use, the steps to the madness and wat happened in the end. Do i need to explain more?

Ummm the kids mod is for GW1.1A not GWX
Not sure if its even compatable but something doesnt sound right in your install

If you enabled the kids mod through JSGME and then try GWX

When SH3 closes and you get the error message there is usually a specific error mentioned
sim.act etc
That will help
Also post your PC specs

To install GW 1.1a you need a CLEAN installation of SH3 patched up to 1.4. Then you can use JSGME to enable GW 1.1a. This is how to do it:
1. Uninstall SH3 and delete the SH3 folder in the C\My Documents
2. Install SH3
3. Patch SH3 to v1.4
4. Install JSGME into C\Program Files\Ubisoft\SH3
5. Run JSGME to create the MODS folder
6. Perform the installation of GW 1.1a into C\Program Files\Ubisoft\SH3\MODS directore. This will create all the GW structure in a directory called GW
7. Run JSGME and enable GW
8. You're ready to play

I suggested you use JSGME because if you need to take off GW you don't need to uninstall SH3 that way.
