Has any one been up the Thames River into London. Not that is is a mission or patrol, but just to see if you can....

I really don't think its doable. I think the Thames isn't modeled past its mouth.

The Thames is there (not very accurate though)
London however, consists of a cow pasture and some trees
I think the river thames is the last place on earth a U-Boat comander would want to go.

Ahh but it takes so long to get to New York, by the time we get there the twin towers have been built and 1980's ASW messures are rather unfavorable to a little WW2 Uboat -especially one with a 70+ year old crew.

Kpt: (weeeezz) "pass me my zimmer frame"
WO: "Where is it? i cant see a thing without my reading glasses"
CE: "Here it is....Arrgghh my prostate!"

Come to think of it.
1962, London Bridge was falling down. Built in 1831, the bridge couldn't handle the ever-increasing flow of traffic across the Thames River. The British government decided to put the bridge up for sale, and Robert McCulloch, Founder of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and Chairman of McCulloch Oil Corporation, submitted the winning bid of $2,460,000.

So, I can go see the London Bridge and never leave the U.S.A.!

Well I'm really surprised that noone remarked so far, that the model you have there is TOWER Bridge not London Bridge :know:

BTW: Some folks in England in 1962 also thought that McCulloch wanted to buy Tower Bridge not London Bridge but didn't know better. ;)

Or you can remove the subnet cutter off the front of your VIIB and systematically use it to saw the boat into pile of timber wood, then rebuild it into a Giant wooden Uboat sculpture to demorilise the British, just make sure you do it at night though, or you might get caught by the police.
Then you could go up to Gunther Prien and say "Scapa flow?, PAH! geuss what we did last patrol! NAH NAHHH NAHHHHH NA NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH"
