Hi guys, how can i make radio contact reports that show on the map drop my tc to 1? In Sh3 commander there is no such option, only radio mesage recieved, because this is annoying by the time i drop the tc manually severeal minutes have passed:down: .

Yeah, I'd love this too. There's been times when I've not been paying enough attention and by the time I see the map marker and slow the TC down (my PC isn't exactly the newest!) the contact is over an hour old.

2 things spring to mind
1, Dont use such high TC
2, Pay more attention to the messages at the bottom of the screen

Of course there is the other option, which makes you're family look at you funny: If you miss something, shout "Bernard! Why didn't you wake me when you got that message?!"

   I never pass from 128 TC. I think its ok this TC.

The simplest solution to that problem is to simply extend extend a line along the course of the contact, for the speed of the contact multiplied by the number of hours since the contact. Then plot your intercept from that point.
For instance, if 2 hours and 30 minutes of game time have elapsed since the first report of a slow convoy (or single ship contact), make the line (7 knots * 2.5 hours) 17.5 nautical miles long. Then plot the intercept as you normally would, working from that point 17.5 miles ahead of where the contact was reported.

My desire is something similar. I have 2 computers side by side and when i'm playing SH3 and have to travel a long ways I surf the net with my second pc. Sometimes I get contact reports that drop me to 8tc but I don't notice. Is there any way I can get it to warn me when it does that? I doubt there is but doesn't hurt to ask

Playing at higher TC is a must for me if I'm ever to complete patrols. I often simply don't have the time to sit at the PC for hours on end. It's common that I only get 1-2 hours. Given the time it takes to setup and execute an attack on a convoy I don't want to spend two whole nights at the PC simply finding one.
@Puster - I've managed to intercept a couple of convoys using this method (or the handy speed/time pull-down charts), but it would still be nicer to drop to 1x when a report is received.
