Guys, following some threads about damage to destroyers, I've seen it myself, where one would accidentally blow up its own rack of depth charges and then give up the hunt.
I've seen the lead destroyer of a convoy come chasing after me and I damage him, he leaves and resumes his lead up-front with smoke/fire on board. I can then run circles underneath that destroyer and he won't bat an eyelid.
Whats the score with Destroyer damage? Is there a points system? Why do they resume their tasks blindly... etc?
