Repair sound idea ?

I just had a thought, what if the repair file could be linked to a sound file so when your repairing the boat theres noises of metal clanging etc.

There are plenty of good scenes in the movie Das Boot to extract and use as the background noises, this I could do very easily, but its the linking of the wrench that eludes me :dead:
