Atlantic Ocean (Jan. 21, 2007) – Lt. Cmdr. Robert Stark holds his shoot stance while his boots speed down catapult number one during a “boot shoot” ceremony on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). The boot shoot is a time-honored Naval tradition unique to aircraft carriers for flight deck shooters to launch their boots overboard as their final shot before departing the ship for the last time. Truman is currently underway conducting flight deck certifications in the Atlantic Ocean.

If he head his legs around that thing you'd need to REALLY grease that deck for the catapult, and then a doctor to repair your nuts after you're done being launched.
