Ok my attempt to dock a oil tanker in La Paz with some shots as well.
Ok so first of all we establish what tugs we need, and believe me we need some powerful ones ive chosen two smitt rotterdam as the lead tug and vestkysten since both tugs are immensly powerful.
Both tugs will be placed on the bow of the vessel to get the momentum going but as soon as we hit shallow water the smaller vestkysten will be moved to the stern to act as the brakeing tug, the smitt rotterdam will then become full leading tug and will stear the vessel.
Normaly i would say i need six to eight tugs but this is a straight in straight out job so no need for many tugs its a straight line docking.

Ok so the tugs are now pulling and the dock is not far away, the echo sounder is telling me theres now less than 1 meter of water under the keel uhoh! this is the acctual clearance of the vessel.

Moving now faster than 3 knots eventualy we get into the inner harbour of La Paz now the smitt rotterdam comes around to the starboard side and pushes and pulls as well as guide me to the jetty.

After that and a lot of monovering the ship is in place to dock it took around 45 minuets to dock the vessel.

A successful docking with no problems and no sinkings grounding fires flooding or any thing.
