Never save the game that way or you will lose credit for the kill - as you have
Always wait for the Shes Going Down message before saving

Not sure its easy to add that sinking to your total
Someone will be along soon that may be able to help if it can be done

If you're up to editing some cfg files it can be done.

I'm too lazy today to type the instructions on how to do it (although I know I have posted them in the past), but Carotio posted something on this yesterday, so try that first.

Good luck. ;)

Not getting credit for a kill is not always a save game issue. I sunk a whale factory ship on my last patrol, watched it go down, even the little screen came up in the bottom left hand corner showing the ship going down but no message "she's going down" thus no credit for the kill.

Any time we play any game with friends, is it a net one or just LAN, or even electric darts, there is always that one rule:
"The computer [automat] is the referee [judge]".
If the referee says there was not any goal, there was not. If he says, that there was one - there was indeed, even if the ball has never been even close... So if the computer says I haven't sunk any ship, that means the ship I saw sinking sunk from heavy seas, bombed by aircraft or because it had a mad captain with suicidal behaviours. :)
