I was searching for a place to buy Herbert A. Werner's "Iron Coffins - A Personal Account of the German U-Boat Battles of World War II", (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Iron-Coffins-Personal-Account-Battles/dp/030681160X/sr=1-3/qid=1169313161/ref=sr_1_3/026-8333215-7612444?ie=UTF8&s=books)when I found another title called "Iron Coffins: A U-boat Commander's War, 1939-45 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Iron-Coffins-Commanders-Military-Paperbacks/dp/0304353302)", also by Werner.

Does anybody know if there is a difference between the two, beside the title and cover?

Thanks,
GLassen

The difference is probably based on publication date and cover type. Every new printing gets a new ISBN, and Hardback and Paperback editions are of course different.

Here is a link to 0304353302:
http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?sts=t&an=Herbert+Werner&y=11&tn=Iron+Coffins&isbn=0304353302&x=25

And here is 030681160X:
http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?sts=t&an=Herbert+Werner&y=17&tn=Iron+Coffins&isbn=030681160X&x=59

And a general section with all available copies:

Welcome to the forum!

Thank you! I bought SH3 a week ago, and have been following the subsim forum since then. I must say that I'm very impressed by the community and the commitment to it by its members. It makes the game even more interesting and playable than it already is. I'm yet to experience the GWX, which I plan to install once I've played the stock version just a bit longer...

Thanks for the answers, the difference might be based on the printing date, as mentioned by Sailor Steve, but also the fact that it's two different publishers (Da Capo Press and Casell Military Paperbacks).
