A historical message that's only in the game for immersion purposes that you should ignore. ;)

Maybe that was supposed to be continued: "Mine is better than yours. I hope it's the last arguemenet we have on our boats topic!"

That's good! I think mookiemookie's is more accurate, but I like yours better!

Funny, but according to uboat.net (http://uboat.net/boats/u104.htm) U-104 wasn't in service at the time. She was commisioned on 19 Aug, 1940.

SH3 plugs your boat number into the "To:" field on those messages. He's obviously U-104 in his current career, so there ya go.
Not tryin' to be funny. That really is the answer.

Oh, I see. I didn't mean that you were making fun of us. I'm aware of fact that there are many historical messages, for example from other (real) u-boats to BdU. I just thought it's one of these.
On the contrary, if this message was addressed namely to a player, it can't be historical. :)
cheers

I guess it can be if it was an open frequency message? When it gets really confusing is when you start seeing historical messages going back and forth to BdU and they're from the boat you're actually using in your current campaign. That's why I try and stay away from famous numbers (U-47, U-123, U-333, etc)
Easy!
