It apopears on mission completion in your SH3 Commander generated "Personell file", but not in the game itself. :(

PS And that's quite real as usually a Kaleun was told what exactly he sunk on patrol by BdU after some time.

Although once updated names appear in your Personnel File, they appear in SH3. :yep:

How come I've never seen them in the game itself?

In your previous patrol logs, they'll be there. SH3 and SH3Cmdr use the SAME file, so if they're in one, they're in the other. :yep:

Oh, I see - in the PREVIOUS one, not current. :) Thanks.

I've just noticed that I made a mistake when editing the classnames of some merchants in the shipnames file for SHIII Cdr 2.7.:oops: A couple of classnames had the 'N' from the file names added to their class names - I was not involved in campaign scripting and didn't realize this until now. For other SHIII users, this will not present a problem, but GWX users may want to make the following changes using either Wordpad or Notepad:

ECT=GenericMerchantsAndTankers to NECT=GenericMerchantsAndTankers
RC=GenericMerchantsAndTankers to NRC=GenericMerchantsAndTankers
[CVW] to [NCVW]

These entries are in the Ship names.cfg file located in the cfg folder of you SHIII Cdr directory. You should be able to find them using your word processing program's search function - the first two entries are near the top anyway.

I should also post this in the SHIII Cdr 2.7 thread in the mods section.

Thanks AG. I've u/l a new version of GWXCfg4SH3Cmdr.zip including these corrections. Usual spot, viz http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX/GWXCfg4SH3Cmdr.zip

Actually, I made a mistake with the Lake Ship too - the line should be:

KLAKE=GenericMerchantsAndTankers

instead of the current line:

KLK=GenericMerchantsAndTankers

No, that's it now - everything else is fine, and I've checked many times since then. I was just not aware that those class names had been changed prior to the release of GWX.:know:

Well, actually, you can delete the entry for the Nevada at the end of the file, as there is one earlier in the file - but that won't effect anything anyway as the program will just choose the first Nevada entry and ignore the second one.

Thanks AG. Revision 2 with these subsequent corrections now available from the link a few posts above.

I wasnt aware the NECT was changed either
I thought the class name was always NECT not ECT

The file names were always NECT, but the class name was originally ECT (and still is for the general release version). :know: Not that it really matters though. Same thing with all of the others I mentioned, (except for the Lake Ship, which isn't a general release ship at the current time).
