U-129, First Patrol, January 3 1941 - March 3 1941. All twenty-two torpedoes used up. It's been my best patrol yet. I know it's not realistic, but it sure was fun. 101126 tons overall, between 15 merchants. My Weapons Officer got me a lucky targeting solution on the liner and sank it with a spread of two torpedoes. He received an Iron Cross 1st Class for his great job. Many of the ships were sunk with one torpedo. This is GWX. It's incredible having ships sink in one torpedo hit. In 1.1a and in NYGM I was used to anything bigger than a small merchant needing two torpedoes, whic was not realistic as many ships that sank did so with one torpedo hit, but the previous damage model made it nigh on impossible to sink anything larger than a small merchant with one torpedo. Great job on the damage model, GWX team! Also found a wolfpack attacking a convoy, I attacked it too. It was great!

you dont have to be more agressive now :)

good job, there is club of 100t + per patrol somwhere that you can now join (if your realism was more than 52)

what realism settings you had?

74%. I still use auto-aim because I can't seem to ever get any good at manual.

Well done!!

You had luck with that liner, I have never seen one. My first patrol in a IXB got me 97,000 odd tons with 15 ships at 94% realism.
