As you all know I am no fan of the EU for what they do to the UK, what the heck are they playing at giving extreme right wing political force. This has to be a very bad move and goes to show the EU in a bad light.

Gypsy-haters, holocaust-deniers, xenophobes, homophobes, anti-semites: the EU's new political force (http://news.independent.co.uk/europe/article2157360.ece)

Have these people been voted in?

Yes.

20 MEPs yesterday signed up to the new formation called Identity, Tradition, Sovereignty (ITS). As a formal group, they are entitled to up to €1m in central funding. It is led by Bruno Gollnisch of France's National Front, who is awaiting a court verdict on charges of Holocaust denial.

I always thought the EU in was a blunder in general, but this is just nutty. Like really, really nutty.

That's democracy for you. If you want voting then you have to accept that "evil" people might be voted in to power.
You can't have it both ways.

I think the biggest problem with centralised European politics is that not enough people are involved with it.
