NYGM Tonnage War V2.2 Help!!!

I have probloem with this mod.I have extracted it with JSGME and started SH3 but it crushes when it complete loading. My SH3 is I think version 1.0 because I can¨t pach game to version 1.4 because it keeps giving me a mesage that it is an unknown version.I think I tried all paches.

If the patcher is complaining about 'an unknown version of HELP.TXT' (in any language) just delete the file and you will be able to patch your game to 1.4b.

NYGM 2.2 will need 1.4b to work. Get your copy patched. (remember to disable NYGM before patching)

Thanks for reply but I tried that.After I delited de_help then en_help is unknown version.After I delite en_menu and en _help then missionengine.dll is unknown version and after that is SH.exe.
I don¨t know what to do!:damn:

OK, let's keep it simple.

Uninstall SH3. Go into My Documents and delete the SH3 folder there. Reinstall SH3, try to patch again. The only explanation you could try, as I had no problems patching SH3.

And are you sure you downloaded the right version? USA or the European/Asian/Oceanic one? You might have?

Did you enable NYGM before trying to Patch to 1.4b? If so then you need to follow the reinstall directions...

Ok, first let's find out which version of SH3 you have.

Download & DVD?
US or European?

Then make sure you have the right patch from here - http://www.silent-hunteriii.com/uk/updates.php

If we have established that you have the right patch version, My next suggestion would be to totally uninstall SH3.

If you use SH3 Commander then make sure you have 'Rolled Back' first.

Process:
1)Unistall SH3
2)Delete Program Folder for SH3 + My Docs Folder for SH3
3)Search the registry for SH3 leftovers. (optional but recommended if you are happy doing this)
4)Restart your PC.
5)Install SH3 V1.0
6)Apply Patch 1.4b
7)Start SH3 to make sure it works.

Providing it works....

8)Install & setup JSGME.
9)Copy/Enable NYGM via JSGME.

This should get you up & running.

Just ask again if you are having problems.

It's quite simple I think. Your version probably IS THE VERY 1.4b one. I had the same problem. Then the patch doesn't recognise the version as it was not told to do it.

Try to reinstal the game anew (as it was suggested in previous posts) and then try to install directly NYGM Tonnage Mod.
