GameShadow is a Piece of Crap

I got suckered into installing GameShadow with my SH3 and what a mistake. Something happened with my InstallShield program and now my XP system is corrupted!!!

I can't even use the System Restore feature of XP. Can you believe this crap?

Eventually when I get the time I will have to do a complete system recovery. Too bad my Gateway recovery XP software is polluted with the AOL Virus and a bunch of other crap. Last time I did a full re-install it took me about 4 hours after all the updates. Then days of tweaks.

Anyone else run into InstallShield problems?

I dont think this is GameShadow's fault,

I think you just had a couple of viruses that sayed it was time to show their faces, some virusses it takes some time before they starting to do real damage to the computer.
The reason to have a good Protection center installed on the computer because you aint safe without one.

I dont installed or never going to install gameshadow because I dont need to have an other programma to look for games, I use ASE its only to look for online multiplayer games to join into. no extra features , good I dont need it

ive had gameshadow too on a few occasions never had a problem with it. only reason i dont use it is because i prefer ASE its the mutts.

I had to install it to play MP! No problems with it, or viruses detected.

I've been using GameShadow since it was first available to the public.
Never once have I ever had any problems of any kind with it.
Just like StarForce...countless simmers have told horror stories about problems they've had on a regular basis.
Once again, I've been using it in two or three of my sims without so much as a burp.:lurk:

I dont know why gamers can laungh there own server, without any crappy "Game-shadow" and you have to pay for, for using there server....

I hope SHIIV will have the option as "create server", to start a game using ya own bandwich....

MOH have it, COD 2 have it, so why not SHIIV????

Some gamers already pay for to have internet connection, why to pay double?
I really hate to install extra-program like "game-shadow" and they always comes up with "the server, that you tried to reach is out order, try back later", or like "maintenance server", "try later"....

As gamers laungh there own server, you dont have that crappy messages like that...

That's odd? I checked everything after the install, all the critical areas and found nothing. But maybr this was the reason I found something few days afterwards? :shifty:

I refuse to download the 1.4 Patch or GWX from anywhere else than Gameshadow.

1) Gameshadow installs the correct version of patch, and works everytime.
2) Gameshadow has GWX in a single Download, and takes half the time to download than any other site(Between 20-30 minutes)

Gameshadow is completely safe, and very user friendly. Do I need to get Tony Treadwell back over here ? I highly recommend Gameshadow to anyone. I am sure if there was some terrible virus or anything there, Gameshadow would have been closed down by now.

I find that when there is a service like Gameshadow that makes life easier for everyone, people look the other way and insist doing things the hard way. Kind of a self pride thing. Kind of like when a kid won't eat chocolate ice cream, and mom says "Eat it", the kid says"I don't like it", even though the kid never had chocolate ice cream before. Try it, you may like like it. Like GWX, try it, and you never go back.

The only thing I disagree with Gameshadow is that they sell "Uboots in the Mediteranean"/Sea Wolves.

I have installed it and have never had a problem. Of course I have only been there twice, and never did anything with it.
