Hey Captains (And Captainettes, Avon  )

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for all of the smiles you've put on my face since I started coming back here (it was pretty recent, I was a member with about 2 posts, now I have 300+!) I cant have realised how awesome this place and all you people really are.

Without this place, I'd never have discovered GWX (I'm tempted to say I wish I hadnt, owing to the number of times I've had a depth charge up my funnel) but it really is a massive improvement on the stock game (It even surpasses NYGM and IUB)

But this forum, and SubSim in general never fails to make me smile, whether its STEEDs epidemic of dissatisfaction for the British Government, The Avon Lady taking someone's argument, stomping on it with knowledge, then smearing an extra helping of 'owned' on it before making them eat.

I could list everyone on here and say why I love you all so much, but it'd take precious forum space and I doubt any of you really have the patience to read that kind of thing, anyway.

But yeah, thank you all, good hunting, and keep the laughs coming!

Well, thank you kindly Kapitan_Phillips ...

This is like a real crew at sea, you know ... read that weather thread down below and you will see that many people here live in cold regions of the world. Most of us sit at a lonely outpost called our computers and it's a pleasure to recieve a thank you once in a while ...

Now Kapitan_Phillips we of the single varitey have certain knowledge and understanding of your coming wedding ceremony which to my recent memory of about 42 years ago includes a honeymoon and if you want to put a smile on our faces ... You do a real good job of taking care of your woman ... We don't need any pictures or a detailed account (Neal would never stand for that anyway)

But you just do a real good job and make us all proud of you, okay ...

You're a blast!

Now that I think of it, it's annoying to imagine that you were really worried about your girl back when she was about to leave Kansas to Wonderland. I've heard on the TV just a few days ago that in Florida the younger you are the safer you are from tornadoes. For whatever reason, that's the statistic. Risk of harm and death increase with age. Of course, I have no idea how accurate that statistic is, I've seen it on TV afterall.

Keep it up.
