Real u-boats only used electrics when running decks awash. Top speed should be 8 knots. Also in real life it was only done when approaching a target, not all the time.

I understand and applaude your reasoning Brag...but Steve is right running 'decks awash' for any length of time would appear a tad unrealistc :hmm:

I agree with both of you. I use the lowered hull mode (not awash) only when I expect airplanes to appear, especially when using deck gun near British bases, or when exiting French ports and still in shallow water.

Meanwhile: In my new GWX career (March 39, VIIB boat) Uncle Doenitz won't let me transfer out of Kiel; saving renown for a IXC sumbie--will look around for some music that pleases you--bado kidogo (it makes manana sound like banzai) ;)

33 to 19 seconds what boat is that? must be an IX boat my does 42 seconds to pd and am happy with that no point in cheating:D
