How do I install the patch? [Archive] - SUBSIM Radio Room Forums

Hello all!

I´ve just installed GWX and downloaded the 23rd dec. patch, but I don´t know/understand :hmm: how to install the update.....
I´ve searched the forum but didn´t find any answers.

Please help.

Hi mate, and welcome to subsim!

First, download and install the jonesoft generic mod enabler (or JSGME). This program allows you to add mods and stuff without overwriting anything.
Copy the folder "GWX - Dec 23rd Corrections" into the MODS folder created in your SHIII directory, then enable it with the JSGME. I have done this, and it works like a charm!:up:

No need to do this step - GWX automatically installs the latest JSGME.

Edit: those other mods is for your own choice, IIRC.

The optional GWX mods can be installed if you wish. They are not required for the December patch to work. Every single mod in that list is stand-alnoe.

Okay I copied the patch to the mod folder and opened jsgme.exe and cant find the 7z file i copied. I am obviously doing this wrong. Help!:damn:

Extract the 7zip into the MODS folder

Make sure you are in port first
Rollback SH3Comander first also
Disable any other mods in JSGME

Enable Dec 23rd patch
Re enable any other mods you want
And your done
