I heard something about the Minimum Wage being raised to $7.25 starting in Feb.

I can not find a thing on it.

Was I dreaming?

I don't think My pay check can handle another Minimum Wage increase, every time it goes up so does the cost of living, but my pay stays the same.

I have went to my employer about a cost of living raise the last time Minimum Wage went up. The stupid Redneck just looked at me and said "You best take care how yer talkin' boy. I can hire 3 Mexicans fer what Im payin' you."... ...:damn:

Life must be tough in America.
Minimum wage here in the UK is ~$9.84 (£5.05)

I have sympathy about your employment situation. I had a job taken by a Lithuanian.
Fair enough tho, there isn't anything special about me or my nationality that means I should have a job and a Lithuanian shouldn't.

I guess not everyone will be getting an increase.

Pelosi is some piece of work. I'm beginning to think it was a real bad idea to make her Speaker. I hope someone will dig up some dirt on her so she has to resign seeing as that is becoming the exit of choice for politicians.

If it makes you feel better bradclark1, I think she is so used to playing inside politics, which everyone of them, on both sides of the aisle, do. That she hasn't learned to turn it off yet. She will learn.

I hope I didnt sound like I was down grading Mexicans.

It just seems to me that sooner or later America will suffocate itself at a 3 to 1 ratio...
