A petition against Government plans to force motorists to pay as they drive has amassed more than 180,000 signatures.

I don't support them.
I just drive on the few country roads in my area. Why should my road tax have to pay for motorway maintenance if I don't use motorways?
The burden of motorway maintenance should be with those that use the motorways, not people like me who just use low-maintenance roads.
Those that use motorways more should pay for the maintenance of them more.
