Well, Here I am, thousands of miles from my game computer. U-805 is in the sub pen getting repairs from the last patrol. It was a quick one, Lorient to BF-19 and gave me plenty of time to cruise the Irish Channel and I picked up two convoys.. Expended my eels and was back in port within 2 weeks.

So here I sit in Virginia Beach, VA. Right on the beach and watching these tankers and cargos sailing by. Currently reading Torpedo Junction about the German Uboat operations right off the shore I'm sitting on.. Dang, there goes 2 large cargos, AOB: 80 Starboard and probably 7KM.. One trailing the other by about 2KM. Trying to estimate speed, but it's hard to guessitimate.. I'm sure I'll set something up and use my stop watch and angle to get speed.. I wish this old laptop would run the game.. It's going to be a long 10 weeks..

Keep those stories and patrol logs coming, Kaleuns..

You have the bug brother! When you are plotting course while sitting on the beach means you are hooked! Just pretend the 10 weeks are your refitting for larger engines! With that said, now you must play the part of the crew when they were in port. Now go find some nice warm bodies and bring booze:rotfl: :rotfl:
