To laugh at it because of the intended joke is despicable and immoral.

Not to laugh at it is to acknowledge the wrong in it. This is a knee-jerk reaction.

But there is another, more complex, joke in the irony that someone making a joke; can make the joke so despicable.
It's the humor of the unintentionally despicable, twisted joke turning into the despairingly post-ironic when viewed by those with higher morals, such as our selves.

To laugh at this in that way is to acknowledge the wrong and ridicule it. :up:
