Camera question..

Running patched Vanilla....

I read Posts where skippers are able to use the camera & zoom in & out on ships but I can't figure out how to control it..


F12 gives me an external shot & gets left behind as the sub moves off unless I hit F12 again. F2 gives me the camera view, but doesn't move.. I don't know if it's done by a mod or not..

When you press F12 try using your Arrow keys. that will move your free-look camera around. holding down shift+arrow keys will move the camera faster.

Another good way of looking "outside" the sub is using the "." key.
If you press it again it will focus on any other ship/aircraft in range. A cheat say some, but I like the eye candy. :p

The comma "," and period "." keys give locked-on views of all the ships in visual range. The arrow keys let you zoom in and out with those views.
