No Pings?

I've recently reinstalled GWX due to pc issues. Prior to reinstall, I had a very tough time with dd's and all. Picking me up from far ranges, non-stop pinging, crapping all over me relentlessly. Now, after reinstall, not so much. In fact no pinging at all; through 4 patrols! I've attacked convoys, had a run in at high compression with a dd, and even attacked a dd without a single ping. Hardly any dc's, and the one's that were dropped weren't anywhere near me. It is like two totally different games. Is it possible I did something wrong, or have a corrupted file? I was having issues with convoy map updates(differnt thread by me) and through the info I gathered I see that the Dec. 23rd patch for GWX modified the Campaign.mis(or something like that) as well as several other files associated with convoy and contact updating. Would this update have any effect on this specific issue?(just an idea, I really don't know much about modifying files and such.) Thanks for any and all help!:D

5th patrol here, no pings either, feb 1940, and even got across the english channel undetected!

GWX of course..

Got two pyro ships down just below Spain, saw some planes, but no pings.. I love the pings.. :-)

Yup, the ping is there. (For me anyhow.)

I'm playing a 1x patrol off Hartlepool right now in a IID and last night a destroyer was pinging me so much it sounded like he was playing chimes on my conning tower. I took some damage but was able to change course and slip away at 2 knots while the water was still roiling from the depth charges.

I beleive someone else had the no ping problem first off

He worked out that he never rolled back SH3commander before adding GWX
Not sure if thats your problem but I get the ping cr@pped out of me

I get pinged like crazy too. I'm currently sitting at 180m dead slow silent running and trying to keep away from the DC's. Great fun with the Ashes in the background instead of working.

Well, I don't know what to do. I don't think Sh commander is the issue, I reinstalled GWX before I even opened SHCommander. It's just way to easy like this.

My least patrol was a ping party. I was pinged so much that i acctually starting to pingin my self :o :D , ping ping - ping pong :damn: I mean i`am pingin right now and i even not playing SH3.

OK! I feel a little better now. I tried to run the channel and was picked up pretty quick, then, lots of pinging and dc. I was utterly destroyed. Do only certain types of dd's have asdic and the ability to ping? I've never noticed a patrol craft to ping. Any ideas?

Hug the french coast or man ur deck and flak gun at all times when u in the channel.
