Do you want that car to do the school run with or just to go to the supermarket.
I would like anything made by Aston Martin and a Gulfstream V for the longer trips.

I'd love a 2006+ Corvette Z06. Doesn't have as much sheer performance as some of the exotic European supercars (then again, it only costs a fraction as much, though admittadly that hardly matters in a case where cost is no object), but it's much more suitable as an everyday driver, because it's easy to drive, has decent cargo capacity, and is quite reliable (among cars of it's class, only the Porsche 911 is more reliable), and it's relativly simple and conventional mechanicals make it easy to work on yourself. And most of all, because it's a 'Vette dammit!

My dream car?

One safe enough to drive on the highways and biways without having to worry about other so called drivers.

M1A1 Abrams comes to mind.

dream car would be... i dont really have one in particular that i really really want, but id settle for 575M Ferrari or 911 Turbo, or for quirks, the Morgan Aero 8. Come to think of it, the new Audi R8 is awesome so yes, that one please.

dream plane? I don't know how to even fly one, so not really dreaming about that. BUt I suppose if I could, I would go for Mig 15 or smth, and that's based purely on looks as I think it's the one of the best looking aircraft ever made. So If I go by looks.. you can guess how much I know about planes. :)

Dream Car: My dad's 1969 GTO that was in storage after he died, which my grandmother sold 2 weeks before my 16th birthday to buy an air conditioner. It probably got destroyed making an episode of Knight Rider or something silly like that. :damn: So any '69 GTO will have to do I guess...

Dream Plane: F4U-1 Corsair. :arrgh!:

I know some B models are being sold to the public right now, but I think the E model is the model to have due to more power.

I'd opt for a Paganni Zonda or a Konigsegg (which is slightly faster I believe if you go for the 805 HP version). The interior on the Bugatti is terrible!

Ever check out a Citation X? I've been on the X and it is the plane to have - much faster at Mach .93 and has a ceiling past 50,000 feet! It's about 1 hour faster coast to coast than a Gulfstream V.

Ahh, it may be much faster, but it won't get even close to the G-V's range. coast to coast it may be fast, but in the long run (literally), gulfstream wins by far. Why?:

say you had a race between a G-V and a Citation 10. You took off from Chicago Midway and had a destination of Hong Kong. You take off at the exact same time, (dangerous, i know)and the C-10 uses its speed to its advantage. Because of this, it has to stop for a 1 hour at Los Angeles-Whiteman for gas and porty-potty dump. G-V however, continues on. the C-10 takes off again, and out paces the G-V to stop in Honalulu for another hour of gas and dumping. G-V still continues on, though. Because of the range, the C-10 must fly slower than its cruising speed of Mch .93 to get at least a little fuel economy to make the long trip. this time, it can't catch the G-V because its well over the Western Pacific already, and the C-10 can't use its speed or it will run out of gas. The resault: The G-V will beat the C-10.:smug:  :lurk:

That's OK. I can have lunch in Monterey CA for 45 minutes, and then beat you to New York and having dinner before you arrive! :p

PS. At least I get to get out and stretch my legs, get some fuel, and take off again and still beat you wherever you are going.

PPS. I can laugh too when you get caught in weather and I fly over it!
