@Rose - If it's online I haven't seen it, took these today as I hadn't seen a 'berg before GWX.

I believe that the icebergs were in stock SH3....they were in TGW 1.1a, for sure. I remember someone asking where to find them and telling them to look in the area where the Titanic was sunk. I know they appear there. SH3 Gen will tell you where they appear.

YES!!! THE FIX WORKED!!! YES YES YES YES!!!

Even in Beta testing no one saw an iceberg in campaign mode. Nice to know they are a factor now!

They should show up on your map as a grey icon labeled "EIS." (German for ice of course.):arrgh!:

Yes, thank you GWX - I have now seen a small 'berg on 2 different patrols. They must be noisy because I spent half an hour approaching the sound contact on the first one before I got a look at it - had to shoot it at that point:D

@Seth - Both times I was just NE of Norway, and the first time my boat dropped down from 256tc long before I would hit the 'berg.

Bernard's bad, actually I was just NWEST of Norway. Anyway, thanks guys-way cool! My hydrophone operator picks them up, they move on a bearing at slow speed, and when you get to visual distance - well, play with them!:D :D :D
