I am a new player to SH3, I have had it a year, but I now have a computer that will play it.

I see that no binoculars in the hands of the crew, but other than that the graphics are just great.

Just playing around to see what SH3 can do, (not like driving the Boat in SH2) is there a way to keep the camera on the Boat, and not let the Boat just sail by?:shifty:

And I can't say this enough, WOW!!! graphics are the best.

Cycle next target is on the keyboard next to the M and / keys, use the < or > keys and put the view on your sub and enjoy the view

Mate, i presume you're playing the stock SH3?? Mess around with some of that, a few campaign missions, etc, and then upgrade to GWX. THEN come and tell us how good you reckon the graphics are mate!

Also, for your question about staying on the boat, try F4

Yup F4 is the conning tower view F12 is the extrenal view, if you want to see the full sub from the outside and other ships( without using freecam mode), do as i suggest two posts up ;)

Thanks Guys that helped a lot.

One more question if you don't mind?

how do you set the dive depth?

No problem matey..we like to help.
Ok regarding setting depth, what i do is click on the button bottom left of your depthgage ( far right dial next to the time, bottom right of the screen ) that should change it's view, put your mouse cursor over it and you click on the numbers to set your depth. It takes some practice but you will master it:up:

Pfft, you should know how to set dive depth, Mr. "I sunk 115,000 GRT and was arguably the most successful Drumbeat kaleun"!

hee hee hee...just playin with ya.

"P" is also the keyboard shortcut to drive to periscope depth, and "c" is the shortcut for crash dive (engines ahead flank speed, dive to 70 meters) in case you don't want to mess with the dial.
