Nice thread :D

My favourite because of the combination of great dialogues and funny situations is no doubt Ernst's Lubitsch "To be or not to be". Then also very funny was: "Life of Bryan", its satyrichal vision of the jews under the roman domination was really funny. Then a couple of good british comedies from the 50s and 60s (One with Cary Grant, Robert Mitchum and Eleanor Parker I can't remember right now its title, was "Blank page" in spanish), and nearly all in the series from Walther Matthau and Jack Lemmon.

I'm not much a big fan of modern comedies, specially the spanish ones, they tend to rely too much on explicit sexual related content or situations

Cheers

Yes, so many Brit sitcoms that are absolutely hillarious. Most have been mentioned.

I just want to add a not-often mentioned US TV series, Dharma & Greg. Jenna Elfman was absolutely whacky cuckoo and both sets of parents were a gag.

If its a girl they are going to call her sigorny after the actress sigorny weaver and if its a boy they are going to call it rodney after dave.

I don't watch too many sitcoms. I like Home Improvement, King of the Hill, and The Simpsons. I just started to see a few episodes of NewsRadio. Never heard of it before. It's not too bad.
