I have questions, but no one over at those boards are answering them. Makes me want to just say to hell with it.

I do not play this game. Sorry mate!
I played EQ for 5+ years and tried the game your game for about 1 week, made level 30 and said it was too ez and quit. I do have a bunch of friends from EQ that still play though so I could direct you towards them if it would help.

Just to clarify....I think were talking about Wolves At War not World of Warcraft;)
I have looked at playing many times but after reading the information section was still left wondering. There are players on this board who play WAW, and even Iblitz (aka WAW BDU) stops in. Maybe thay can help you.

That's why I'm asking here Dan. And thanks.
BTW: I think they screwed up on the NYGM 2.2 or the Training Mission they want me to complete. Every time I go to periscope depth, I lose aquision of my target, and teh only target I can aquire is the closest one. Which happenes to be an escort that's hunting me.
Go ahead and ask, I'll try to answer.
I'm the temporarily-absent commander of the 2.Flottille at WaW, due to return to active duty in the next few days.
WaW are usually a helpful bunch. Surprised you haven't gotten an answer from them. One explanation might be the recent forum troubles that led to switching the communication board.
I to have sailed with them many times under the monicer Daniel Hippensteel. Real life reared it's ugly hrad and have been unable to play for ages. Am currently at a very extended hazmat cleanup and all I have is a laptop for internet access. Of course when this job is finally done I will be able to get a higher end laptop. Now if W@W just remembers who I am and lets me start sailing againthings will be great!!:D All of the folks I ever exchanged message with were some great people and real quick on the average to responde to messages. I haven't been on the site in a while so I knew nothing about the forum troubles. :o

Seems to be more than that. See my post in the 5th Flottilla forum. There seems to be a snafu in either the training mission or NYGM 2.2. Also, the forum keeps logging me out when I want to post.

So THAT's where you've been.
Naturally, I remember all my aces :D Cheers and I hope you can come and play again sometime.

If the problem is with the training mission, all the more reason to get me involved with it! I'm the one that made them...
Please hold up, I'll check on it soon. As I said, I've been a bit out of the WaW loop a bit...
Also, I personally preferred the older forum and sympathise with some log-in/log-out issues. Alas, it's not up to me and I don't think it's that huge a deal...
Ah, I see.
This is NYGM 2.2, I think. The key is that at night, the so-called 'periscope range' is limited, so 6.5 km is just too far for it. I wouldn't worry since, well, 6.5 km is not what I'd call a firing range. Now if you approach to within 1km and still can't keep the lock, then we'd have a problem.
I don't think this can be changed. In part I believe it's related to NYGM's revised detection ranges for the AI.
