Something about german aircrafts, i think...
I tried to google it:

IE:

Lg.Kdo Norwegen

1/KG z.b.V 108 Ju 52 see/He 59 + 60
Hommelvik

A/C probably means aircraft..

It's just a "colour" message to make you feel a little less lonely when on patrol.

The actual message would have been for a u-Boat to transmit a beacon signal for the 1st Kampfgeschwader and I assume the 40 A/C means 40 aircraft. I may be wrong on the last bit.

It is code for #1 with cheese and go large on the fries...:shifty:. It is just eye and ear candy for some atmosphere of the game. I believe it does pertain to aircraft as stated earlier.

I'm still waiting to get a radio code like BZ 32V . . .WWII US Navy code for Good Job (BZ) and Dumbo, the sea plane (32V)

You shouldn't get that message; BZ at that time would be rendered Baker Zebra. Besides, it didn't mean "well done" until the first NATO codebook, issued four years after the war ended.

1./KG40 means Erster Gruppe (First Group)/KampfGeschwader 40 (A Geschwader would be roughly equal to a USAAF Bomber Wing or a RAF Group). 1./KG40 was formed 1.11.39 at Bremen with Fw 200C bombers and flew from June 1940 to March 1943 out of Bordeaux-Merignac. The KG was using He-111s and He-177s as well, up to 45 aircraft in all.

That would be "Broadcast beacons for 1 Kampfgeschwader, 40 aircraft". Ein Kampfgeschwader was a dive-bomber unit, I think.
