ocean graphics

external view dont know why but the ocean far away ((or not even that far becomes a pattern any way to cure this my specs are

compaq sr2034nx
1gig ram
nvidia geforce 7300gs 512-pci-e card
windows xp media edtion
250gb hard drive

enough pc here i would think for a more detailed ocean just need to rearrange somthin?

Your PC is fine, I beleive it's just the way the graphics for the game are. At a distance, or viewing from high in the air, the ocean graphics are a pattern of squares that all have the same animation.

EDIT: There may be a mod that changes this, I don't know.

Are you using any mods?

I think this was a side effect of the new scene.dat files that were included. It is more noticable with the 16km visabilty version.
