Whats the big deal? You guys are gonna eventually fall back into the ocean anyway. You all live on borrowed land! You'll need some place to stay and from what I've been reading about the UK lately, I don't think you have too many good options! :D

Leave? No! Who said anything about leaving?! I mean bring the whole thing! The land, the water, the windmills, everything*! Ok, fine, the climate of the South won't please you, forget about that. They want New York then New York is what you get.

*All itens and individuals interested on the transplant project must be personally approved by me.

We have two options here:

1. Implant it right in the middle of the state of New York:

Instead of the ocean you get lake Ontario and maybe New York can be transfered to your authority, the new state will be called the Great Netherlands and the city will be renamed Zew Yorken (map not in scale).

2. Connect it almost directly to New York:

This option leaves you with a real ocean to fight and make levees against (you can always do them in New Orleans anyway). Of course, now there's also an ocean on the back side but that only makes everything more fun and will even increase the value of the real estate there once they sit in front of the ocean. The connection is not exactly with the city of New York but as close as possible. The red line shows the connected land mass. As you can see it has the shape of a heart, just like those I(heart)NY logos. Perfect! :up:

I don't know if you'd have to become a US citizen. How about those people in Lichtenstein, what are they? Maybe we can arrange something like that, you can become a Nethermerican citizen, neither American nor Netherlander. I'll be waiting here, let me know if you need any help transporting all the land over the Atlantic.

Love that idea TteFAboB. While we're at it let's tow Israel over to Miami Beach. Then the Palestinians in the Gaza and West Bank can howl over the large empty bay where their arch enemies used to be. Might actually have to learn to get on with their lives at that point. ;)

I would gladly ship them all the people and buildings in New York, as long as they agreed to take the UN. I would pay Holland to take New York -- they can have Hollywood as an extra special little bonus.
