Background noise

I've got this background noise, I think after a re-install. It's not the wind, I'm pretty sure about that. It's there all the time and kind of like the sound you get when you stick your ear against a conch shell (not that I do that a whole lot). If anyone familiar with this, is there any way to get rid of it or minimize it?

Ps: Could be some bad sound files or something...:hmm: Maybe a messed up environment file..

Could be, or my sound card, I guess, anyway I'll leave it until re-install for GWX.

Normally it is said that by listening inside a conch shell you can hear the sea, so hearing the sea is not so strange in a game about submarines ?;)
