Hey all, I'm rather new here..I recently got the game and all and downloaded TGW mod addon and SH3 Commander thing. Well, my problem is that I everytime I run into a ship, and look at it in my notepad all it says is "contact". It's not necessarily a problem per se, but I'm just wondering why it does that? I'll visually spot it, look through my recognition book and all of it but it will never say what kind of ship it is, all it says is "Contact". It may be a stupid question, but eh...I've searched everything and can't necessarily find my answer...so was kinda hoping someone could explain it to me. Thanks in advance o.o.

Reinstall GW (almost wrote GWX :D) and this time make sure you don't tick the box next to the "Generic ship names" when it ask you what you want to install!

The generic ship contact adds some realism to the game. In other other words you need to get close to identify the ship so you know if it is Allie or Neutral ship. Me, I just hit the "." key to identify it, I mean really man, all the eye candy and not use outside views.....not the kid!!!!;)

Oh they will get it soon. Don't forget it is our job as beta testers to make sure it is bug-free. That's what I'm affraid of :D :D Imagine what will happen if we miss a bug (small or big) ;)
