What is Silent Hunter 3 Exclusive Edition?

I saw this at a Norwegian webshop for 89,-NOK, or about 10 euros. What is the difference from the standard version?

If you guys have been in stores lately, it's a generic Ubisoft cheap re-edition of collector's titles, so I think it is just the original game in a low priced series.

Does it have SF? I'd buy the game a third time just to not have SF on my computer. It's done bad things to my computer, and this is too incredible a game for me to quit.

It is the low budget version of SH3 published by Rondomedia GmbH like all the other Ubisoft Exclusiv title. It includes the original game + StarForce but without the printed manaual and nav chart, they are only as PDF's on the DVD.

I have it :-? They were out of the "real things". It only has the DVD in a plastic paper envelope fo CDs, but it's OK. THe original and it works. No manual BTW. It was only around 16,5$ when I bought it 3 months ago (Damn time fly fast. From my first posts to being a part of the GWX Beta team).

Exclusive Collection???:rotfl: If it was a collection title it would come with alot of extraz. Its just advertising rip offs. Its really the Budget Series. No manual, no map, no keyboard card. Its sold here but under the name: Budget Games - meaning the cheapest version your ever find. $12.00

It's a good deal... The online community manual is far better than the original, the map is a pullout on the Nav screen either in GW or NYGM...:cool: or is available for download in Pdf for printing if you want... If I remember well, think I paid 49 Euros, that's 60 $ when it came out .

I bought the expensive option and it is worth it for the map and to a lesser extent the keyboard layout. The manual is worth about two eighths of bu**er all though and didn't help at all in comparison to lurking on the forum here for a while.

Rule no. 1: Community is the best manual!
Rule no. 2: Cheap is the best!
Rule no. 3: GWX will have a manual so long, it will take a week to read it all! ;)

Its the same vanilla game as we know, not a special version.

Just says that the game is back for sale from Dez 15th, and if you order it now they guarantee a delivery before Christmas. You can order 4 games and pay for 3 there.

i remember time ago when the games comes with great boxes with maps, manuals, and the 3/12 floppy disk.... :shifty:

If you wait 6 months after the first release, when most of the bugs are corrected and the community mods make it a decent game, that's probably what you will pay for it. I will as well...;)

I heard somewhere (don't remember where) about there being a legal version of this game without StarForce in a German game bundle. Might I ask, what is this game bundle and where can it be found? StarForce messes up my computer a lot and I've had to reformat several times because of it. It's the price I'll pay for this game.
