Get SH3 Cmdr, you can do it with this program. SH3 Cmdr is a must have program anyway.

Using SH3 Commander you can edit your boat number, your patrol grid and your crew. It's a MUST. Give it a try and you'll not play SH without it again:up:

If you're not using SH3 Cmdr, you can still edit the boat number. If I remember correctly, all you have to do is find your career folder (look in the folder my documents/SH3/data/cfg/careers/'your name'). Find the file Patrols_0 (.cfg file). Open in notepad. There you can find the line in your last completed patrol 'SubName=U-XX', where 'XX' is the current number. If you change the number there, I believe on the next patrol it will be changed to whatever you typed. I think that's it - if not maybe a fellow Kaleun can add some wisdom. Good Hunting!
