Woops typo in the header... its WWI

This has probably been posted before but I stumbled accross this while browsing videos.

Its quite lengthy @ 47 minutes and discusses the development of new weapon systems such as... the submarine.

Nice, at first i thought it was Uboat Westwarts again, but this is new stuff. How the hell did you find this? The font im guessing is either Arabic or err hebrew?

Pure dumb luck ! I was really supprised when the audio was in english.

Can anyone translate the title for us ?

Yeah it is, i watched most of it before i had to shut down and head out the door. Its really intresting to watch, and very educational. Uboats in WWI isnt something you normally hear about.

It's BBC documentary. It has been aired in the UK a couple of years ago. It is very interesting and strange to see all this films in colour. Thanks a lot :up:

Nice one....I wonder where they get all these coluored stuff!?

And till I saw that vid, I always thought the torpedo blasts in SH3 "piercing" through a Ship from keel to top deck were unrealistic :p

Pretty sure its actually B/W film thats been colored.

They were digitaly remastered!

I have a collection of 6 DVD on WWI in colour. I jolly good show I must says :yep:

OMG??? It's the documentary I DO have at home. EXCELLENT SERIES!!!

And I like the narators voice.

realy loved watching it, especialy the big battle impressed me a lot seeying that gunfire from the big battleships. wish that SH3 had such graphics when the BBs fire their mighty cannons :rock:

This is OT, but the part about the aircraft is just amazing. It's like GWX, but WWI Air Battles. THe music, the narrator, the words, citations, everything. I really enjoyed watching (and later on rewatching the whole series). I would probably do it on Friday (THX for reminding me on the series), but I have GWX to test. :cool:
