A wolfpak!! didnt know they where in sh3 just off the flemish cap i got a contac report when i arrived my chin hit the floor when i saw a dd on fire another dd dead in the water leaving the merchants at risk ! i saw another u boat and nearly died !! owned this game since release date and it continues to surpise me:cool:

event camera more eventful -because external view is too much like cheatin:down:
but gotta have some eye candy:rock:

Just the other night I had the same expirence. It was excellent!:o

I finished some of the ships that were on fire and slowing, but I didn't see the U boat but I saw several explosions.

I'm running NYGM 2.2, And I think it is a feature of that.

I use the External Camera all the time, how else you suppose to get good screenies. I don't use the camera for Identifying the targets, I leave that up to the WO. Plus, I use Real Damage Mod, so I got to get up close for the great action.

Last night I received a contact report and ran an intercept. Got within UZO range & although it was a C2, it looked like it had 3 stacks.. Got closer & saw that it was on fire.. Tried to put out the fires with my deck gun, but it didn't help :smug: I got the tonnage credit too..

I also like to run with the external camera disabled so I don't get tempted to use it, but I'd really like to see more of the action sometimes. Last night I sank a tanker with two fish from 3500m. I got an external camera for the launch of the torpedos, but no external camera of the ship getting hit or sinking. I just watched from my periscope (perhaps why I didn't get an event window?).

Are there any mods for the event camera? Perhaps some way to make them trigger more often?
