Mines in the channel

When do the mines start to show up? Are they there in 39 and do they get worse as the game progresses? Ive been through there a half a dozen times or more and I havent seen one yet. Do you all go around the north tip of england to get to the atlantic?


I should probably add that im using gw supermod.

That's what the real uboats did, went around the british isles. Channel was too dangerous.

I can see why they had to worry about fuel so much. When you start from Kiel and have to work your way all the way around the north tip of england, you burn a lot of fuel before you even start patrolling. I cant wait untill I make the move to France.

Go slow at high tc, that helps.

Essentially, England controlled the channel. There are plenty of mines. If you want to see on really close, visit a port or two within the channel. Before you set sail, write your last will and testament:o Its really an explosive party:rock:
