When will we know the system requirements for SH 4?

The specs on Silent Hunter 3 changed about one month before its release....at least in regard to the RAM requirement.

I can. SH4 will definitely require a computer, a keyboard, a mouse, a monitor, a set of speakers and a sense of fun. Optional will be a love of history.

@ Sailor Steve:

Sounds like the system requirements for my copy of Aces of the Deep.:o

386DX 33 (i.e. pretty much the worst modern PC imaginable)
4 MB RAM
Hard drive
Mouse

:rotfl:

Seriously though, even though no one knows what the system requirements are yet, I think we can assume they will be considerably higher than SHIII, although maybe not astronomically higher (at least I hope).:shifty:

I hope not monetarily higher. I bought my current computer just for SHIII. I don't want to go through that again.

They said in one of the interviews that the game engine that there using is based on the one in SHIII, with improvments in grapic control and such. I belive any computer that can run SHIII well will cope (If it can run GW you should be fine)

So its no chance of SHIV requiring 3.0 shader model instead of 2.0 (I would hate having to buy a Nvidia GeForce 8800 just to get support for 3.0 or even 4.0 shaders...:nope:)
