Donations and forum options

Hi ALL,

The other night I stumbled upon a message regarding donations to SubSim and changing your rank and/or avatar (can't remember exactly the options). I should've marked it because I just cannot find it again using the forum search and the FAQs.

Someone had requested it, and their advice was to contact Neal if they needed to change or request something.

In January of 2005 I contributed at the Captain's level because I enjoyed the Hi-Res pack for SHII so much. So, to get to the point :lol: , I would like to contribute again this year and change some of my user options. Could someone point me back to that message and/or steer me in the right direction? It would be greatly appreciated.

I would contribute something anyway, regardless of the forum options. I don't post a lot, but I'm an avid SHIII player, and have been playing subsims since the days of GATO. I'm a huge fan of this site and learn so much from everyone. And, I want to support all the great work and mods that are available here. Thanks to ALL!

If you look at the forum index, you find a listing for comments to subsim. In there you will find steps for getting a custom Avatar.

After reading thes forums for a day, and dowloading som mods, I too went to the captains level. If it were not for SubSim I would have thrown SH III in the garbage. It is hard to know the sim without the help of every Captain who contributes to the forums. When I get frazzled by the game I go to the forums for awhile. Their as interesting (almost) as the game.

The site needs to be supported and I will renew my Captains rank every two months,
