:p :p :p If I sink a carrier / mechant, and it cannot set off all its planes before it sinks, of cause, the planes will sink with the ship, and does the renown of the plane included as well?

Maybe it is hard to imagine if I just describe it (My English is not good) , this is an example:

An C2 cargo is sank by me and it went down with 3 B-24s (They deserves it!) which are carrying by the C2 (From USA ~ UK)

Then the formula of renown I get if I play with 100% realism
= 190 [renown of C2] + 300 [renown of 3 B-24s) = 490 ;)

OR

= 190 [renown of C2] ONLY???

Thanks!

I am pretty sure you do not get any renown for them, as they are just another form of deck cargo (like oil drums or ammunition crates).:nope: Same thing with a carrier, but I think the aircraft are actually considered to be part of the carrier as separate .obj files in the carrier's .dat (as opposed to an individual unit on its deck). I should check that out - I have never unpacked a carrier .dat before...:hmm:

That would be an interesting addition to the renown/reward-system whatsoever. To include the cargo into the amount of reward. :hmm:

Yes that would be great. I have put my hopes on GWX ;)

Right.

BdU: U-60, report.
U-60: Sunk 1 Large Cargo and 4 Sherman Tanks, Herr BdU. Caught them transitting England-America in S-K1337:up:. Hugs and kisses upon return to port?
BdU: ...What... The... F:o?

I am so evil:p.

Which reminds me: Any chance of amphibious tanks in GWX?

Well that's not a joke actually. Inbound ships/convoys were much worthier targets than outbound ones (obviously).

Besides, fully laden ships tend to sink faster than empty ones...:arrgh!:
