Damage control

I just don't get it.
I get red or yellow compartments, and press either the damage control team button on top or assign specific people to the task.

How do I actually get them to fix the damage? Suddenly sometimes I see a time when it will be fixed but most often I don't.

How does this work?

Damage control is different in vanilla, GW, NYGM 2.2 and some other mods. What are you running?

Its probably silent running, they dont do anything then.

*Assign people to damage control team (send an officer with repair skills)
*Click on the compartment you want to repair in the "menu" under the damage control team
*Start with the most critical compartments (Left box shows how long it will take, and right box how long time you have before the hull implodes)
*Put people in the damaged compartments, that will also help
*When the pumps start working (the left box disappears), move to the next damaged compartment(unless the flooding is really bad)
