Hi guys,
When you click on the "Options" button on the main menu page and click on "Video Settings", it brings you to this page where you can tweak your graphics settings. I noticed today that the box with the "Synchronized" marking is unchecked... Anybody know what this feature does? Does it improve gameplay?
Thanks

I've often wondered the same thing myself (wonderful users manual that comes with the game  ). If I had to hazard a guess, it deals with multiplayer, as I've noticed the message "sychronizing files" when I play, and I do have "synchronized" checked.

The sync in the graphics is for Vsync - It syncronises your videocard output speed (usually at about 30 FPS) with your moniter and stops your video card putting out more frames than your monitor can display and causing tearing in the image you see.

Is how Darius mentioned, that option activates the Vertical Syncroniztion.
If i am not wrong, your video card will give you only multiplos and submultiplos of the value you have adjusted as refresh rate into your monitor.
In example, if you have 60Hz refresh rate adjusted into your monitor, your video card output will be in example 15, 30, 60, 120, 180 FPS.
Note if your card is capable to give you 100 FPS it will give only 60 up to it is capable to give 120 FPS
