Thought I'd save some time & streak through the East-West Channel below Scapa Flow (1940).. Figured it would save me some playing time :damn:

3 Destroyers, a Flower Corvette, 6 Aircraft and a change of skivvies later, I was down 5 eels (Missed one shot when the destroyer slowed down) but through the 'shortcut'.. Now I know why my folks told me to avoid dark alleys... :hmm:

Anyway, patrolling my favorite shipping lane, I noticed that there are a lot fewer cargos and a lot more aircraft and destroyers.. I'm reduced to spending most of the day submerged and running real slow to save my batteries. Picked up a slow moving ship & got in position to identify/ sink it... Dang tug :nope:

The best way to enter Scapa Flow is through the East side through the channel which has the two ship wrecks in it. But submerge before as you get into the inlet as I think there might be shore batteries.
