View Full Version : How many of you have a blog?
I would imagine several of you have at least one blog judging by the number of posts some of you have. I just started one two weeks ago and now I have six!!! I guess I'm a blog addict now; or maybe just too much freetime.
Do you blog?
If so, how many blogs do you have?
Ho wlong have you been blogging?
A few of mine:

I'm too busy reading blogs to have a blog of my own.
And what I might jot down on my own blog is usually already stated on someone else's.
I can say for the record no. :smug:

I have a 2 or 3 month-old watchdog blog where I reply and alert to the dirty tactics and lies propagated by, hmm... Lord Voldemort, so that others don't fall for them and can instantly recognize them. Not worth a link though.

Seeing as I am acutally Lord Voldemort, I can tell you that your blog has been a great hinderance to my operation. I have had to fire most of my henchmen because they have tied up my phone lines (I'm on dial-up) trying to check the website. Good help is hard to find.

Only reason i post so much is because of alot of compile time at work. That said, me, blog? Oh hell no! The internet is festooned with blogs. The last thing the worlds virtual toilet needs is my big steaming pile of Bull**** to go along with the mountainous turd already present!
Needless to say, any blog i would do, would be dripping in sarchasm, and would me more of a rant page then an acutaly online diary. Yah, thats another thing, the world does not need to know my daily cominigs and goings, an while im on that subject, who the hell besdies myself cares what i do, or think anyway?!
Hmmmm...one could then wonder why you have so many posts on Subsim then?

I don't have a blog. I'm too busy with my wife managing the top writing/critique group on the internet. It was named by Writer's Digest Magazine for two years running in their annual survey of the 101 Best Websites for Writers on the Internet. Considering we have only been in operation for 2 1/2 years, that is no small feat. We started with four writers then and have grown to 362 members from the four corners of the globe. The website address is http://groups.msn.com/UniversalWritersGroup if anyone is interested.
Ishmael, your writers group looks like fun! Maybe I'll post a story or two from my SHIII blog once I get a bit better. While working on my BA in History I did quite a bit of writing, but have lost my edge after several years. Your group looks like a place to draw inspiration!
Do you do much writing yourself or is it more your wife's interest, or do both of you write?

I use to have one sent up on a UK site, My Blog was base on fantasy all made up on a character living in New Zealand. I had alot of fun with it and got alot of ppl adding to friends list etc., Was good fun but i ran out of words or writers block then it went dead. One such friend who invited me was a chap calling himself Lord Crumbs - he even had himself his own wannabe govenment party and asked me to join so i could spread the word to kiwis of his party values :yep: A real character.
