I remember they said this last winter and all we got were few short cold snaps and a mild winter.

AFTER one of the hottest summers on record, Britons have been warned to prepare for the big chill.

Weathermen sent out the alert as they told the nation to wrap up for an icy blast from the Arctic.

More like the big sink over here at the moment...thankfully our sea wall held and the marshes didn't flood. Otherwise this would be typed from a rescue center somewhere :-?

It was 7 degrees outside today, and 4 degrees inside (naf heating and windows in the flat)

Some parts usually means the arse end of Scotland.

It's the same every year. I think they are in cahouts with the power companies so we bump up our heating ;)

Anyway I reckon snow in February, bring it on, I love a snowy cold winter.

Hey last night was cold :up: is winter here? Not in my book just the first cold snap back to mild weather over the weekend.
