Still no inet at home, but they said it supposed to be hooked up today and I am believing them!!! My only doubt comes form the recording on my account status that says Nov 9th!! Ouch! The operators assure me that it is supposed to be today though. SHould I hold my breath??? :hmm::hmm:

Well i bet America does not have one ph company that controls all *Telecom* sux here in NZ. They control our broadband speeds which are not up to international standards, if we get on the wrong side of them we cannot jump ship with another ph company. Yet all that is about to change, our govenment has *finally* opened the doors for other companies to startup, Vodaphone are looking at starting up, Ihug have just started although there costs are very high yet thats expected, wait a few months and costs will be down. In response Telecom have said they will lay off 700 staff before christmas and have stopped all donations to our govenment and parties. Sounds like they were pushing money into our govenment to keep the one company rule, yet sooner or later it had to change. Also from what ive heard from mates is the BB speeds are now getting better. Ive been waiting for this day to come along so i can change ph companies and get off 56k. Best deal around is Slingshot 25gig for $30 per month. YAE :arrgh!:

Verizon - only takes 45 min to an hour to get someone on the line too to explain to them that they were suppossed to do or scheduled to do something yesterday.
