I just recently started playing SH 3. This maybe a stupid question but how do I know what direction I am traveling in? When I look at a target in my scope and it is at 150 should I turn the sub in that direction? I would appreciate any help I can get thanks.

visualize the your boat laying smack dab in the middle of 360° circle, with your bow at 000° and your stern at 180°.

all visual targets are reported to you relative to your position in that circle. Your relative bow heading is always 000° regardless of what course you may be sailing.

Welcome aboard seansrs38 :arrgh!: keep an eye on your compass (that is your direction of travel)...but never forget (as don1reed rightfully said) "all visual targets are reported to you relative to your position in that circle.
